Lily's Family
On a sun-filled Saturday, I had the pleasure of catching up with a past family who welcomed their new addition Lily to the world just several days before. Those precious first days at home as a family are always so special, the beautiful chaos of adjusting to a new blessing who is at peace knowing they're surrounded by people who have been anxiously waiting for them to take up space.
Following our time together, this sweet family fixed me a delicious plate of homemade lasagna and a fresh salad. We then chatted about parenthood and future generations; it was a great reminder to me as a photographer that there are clients who genuinely see me as a human, as a mother, as a person outside of what I showed up for; I truly am grateful for these connections.
